Description
Our client, a large Government Department is seeking to engage multiple Midrange Systems Administrators until June 2013.
The successful candidate's will have skills and experience in the following:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the administration of one or more of the following: IBM WebSphere enterprise software, IBM Tivoli Access Manager/WebSEAL, webMethods products and Messaging (MQ) on UNIX and Windows based operating systems;
- Experience administering JavaEE containers or .NET applications on IIS (Windows 2003 Server) and/or 7.5 (Windows 2008 Server)
- Demonstrated research and analysis skills - self motivation, and pro-active approach to learning new skills and finding relevant information;
- Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology (or similar) or significant demonstrated IT industry experience.
Highly desirable:
- Experience with systems implementing SOA principles.
- Experience in Scripting languages such as Pearl, Shell Script, VBScript and Powershell.
- Knowledge of network communication protocols such as HTTP(s and FTP and an understanding of the concepts involved with DNS and LDAP.
- JavaEE and/or .NET development experience would be advantageous.
- An existing Security Clearance Classification of at least NV1
