Our client is a global nuclear services company that is looking to expand in the UK . Currently based in Gloucester our client is looking for a talented and experienced mechanical design engineer to join the team. This exciting opportunity is looking for an individual to have experience in CE Marking and dealing with the nuclear regulator in the UK. Acting as the point of contact for design work within the US, this exciting opportunity is looking for an individual to have experience in CE Marking and dealing with the nuclear regulator in the UK.

This role involves:
*Interfacing with our client's client on engineering issues and to work with the design teams based in the US to define the design being delivered to the client.
*Interpreting the requirements and then reviewing the designs produced.
*Mentoring and advising the design teams to ensure that the products will be acceptable in the UK.

Therefore the ideal candidate will:
*Have substantial experience working within the nuclear industry.
*Have a sound knowledge of UK Regulations and Directives.
*Be a good, confident communicator.
