Description
Our client, a large Government Department is seeking to engage a Window Server Design and Support Officer until June 2013.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in the following:
- High level skills in the design and support of End User Computing Services and Strategic mapping
- Knowledge of standards and demonstrated experience in core MS enterprise applications (Exchange, SCCM, SCOM)
- Ability to provide design support and upgrades of the End User Computing Environment
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft, Citrix, SOE, VMWare, VDI and remote access technologies.
- Demonstrated experience is supporting Windows Server Technology and Active Directory in an large and complex enterprise environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Network Monitoring Solutions
- Demonstrated experience and operational knowledge of server, network and desktop operating systems within a virtualised environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in one or all of the following; Exchange; Server 2003 & 2008;
