Market Data Analyst/MDM/Contract/London/£350-£450pd
I am looking for a Market Data Analyst for my client a top tier investment bank to join their expanding team based in central London.
What the role will entail:
This role sits within the Market Data Services Management (MDSM) Team.
The MDSM Admin Team consists of 4 Team members who carry out all MDS Admin tasks including:
* All MDS Business Requests via Remedy
* Provide 1st line of challenge back to the Business where MDS Requests do not match Desk Profiles
* Update/maintenance of MDM
* Manage day to day queries from the Business
* Conduct all relevant uploads into MDM ie HR/DACS/Bloomberg etc
* Management of DACs permissioning across Desktops and in house Applications
* Management of other vendor specific permissioning tools eg Bloomberg EMRS Admin Tool, Bloomberg Portal and BPIPE Website
* Management of Thomson Reuters Data Notifications (DNs) analysis of data usage and appropriate follow through
* Invoice processing
The candidate needs to have solid hand's on experience of:
* Remedy - or similar
* MDM
* DACS
* Bloomberg/HR/DACS uploads
* Application data permissioing
The candidate should also have a sound understanding of RMDS & Applications/data usage & permissions. Whilst this is not a technical role it does require a degree of Application behaviour knowledge to understand how these should be permissioned to support data access requirements etc.
Successful candidates will have the following experience:
* Excellent hands on experience of MDM including all the necessary uploads required ie DACS/HR/BLOOMBERG
* Sound knowledge of MDS providers eg Thomson Reuters/Bloomberg/Factset/Ratings Agencies/Markit
* Overall understanding/experience of MDS Administrative processes/cycles
* DACS/Bloomberg Portal
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Excellent inter-personal skills/Team Player.
