Job Description:
We seek a strong ABAP offshore coordinator for deployment on site to co-ordinate ABAP development with the clients own offshore Indian teams. The ideal candidates will have strong ABAP technical knowledge harnessed with team lead experience and ideally prior offshore coordination role(s) in the arena of ABAP coding. They must also be an experienced Portal & WebDynpro Java Developer.
Job Description:
The individual in this position will work as an onshore coordinator and developer. A high degree of working hour flexibility is required.
Experienced Webdynpro Developer to participate on SAP coding efforts, including:
* Interface with the customer to understand technical design specifications and delivery targets
* Code the solutions
* Compliance with Client Standards & Programming Practices & Guidelines.
* This includes interface with both ABAP and Java programs
* Support integration testing, user acceptance testing, cut-over activities, and warrantee period support as required
* Provides support to custom built applications.
* SPS (SAP Programming Services) provides custom SAP development (ABAP, JAVA) and support for SAP instances used by Client users worldwide.Skill Requirement:
Must Have Soft Skill Requirements:
* Must speak, read and write English fluently
* Able to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience
* Able to refine requirements from business end users, update technical design specification documentation.
* Act as a mentor and focal point for more inexperienced developers
* Technical Analysis & Problem solving skills
* Able to be productive when working asynchronously with colleagues located around the globe which also require flexible working hoursMust Have Professional Skill Requirements:
* Intermediate Webdynpro programming experience in an SAP J2EE environment
* Advanced HTML and JavaScript programming experience
* Knowledge on Object Oriented languages
* Intermediate SAP ABAP programming experience, with focus on web enabled development
* Use of Netweaver Developer Studio (NWDS) JAVA developer environment
* Experience with Sun JDK/SDK-Java Development Kit
* Knowledge of NWDI-Netwever Development Infrastructure
* SAP Enterprise Portal 7.0 development experience
* Knowledge of SAP Portal S&C including role assignment
* Knowledge of methods, processes, and techniques for delivering new or enhanced functionality, such as Odyssey.
English Speaking Assignment.
Start: 1st October 2012.
3 Month Contract (with long term extension likely).
