Description
Our client is a State Government Agency located in Brisbane. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Organisational Change Manager to join their team for an initial 9 month contract, with an opportunity to extend for a further 12 months.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing communications and change management strategies and align activities across projects/streams
- Assisting with the improvement of the existing change management processes.
- Performing risk analysis in relation to stakeholder management, business readiness and change impact, and manage these risks to ensure appropriate action is taken where necessary
- Managing the organisational change activities (change plan) for the program.
- Liaising closely with the business representatives and stakeholders impacted by project releases to ensure a smooth transition through, and following, the implementation of ICT projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Preparing a range of documentation, reports and briefing materials as required
- Demonstrated knowledge of communication and change management methodologies. Demonstrated ability to apply such knowledge in a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated negotiation, consultative, interpersonal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a cohesive management team and gain commitment and motivation from staff.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage and report on project management activities and identify issues affecting the program.
