FTE & Cost Reporting Manager
Bristol

Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a FTE & Cost Reporting Manager, to be based in Bristol.

The FTE & Cost Reporting Manager will be responsible for:
-Providing guidance and advice on end to end FTE management and reporting processes
-Responding to ad-hoc FTE queries
-Manage month end actual FTE reporting including validation of submitted data, reconciliation to Group HR system, data archiving and month end rollover in RMT database
-Maintain and develop RMT database to support evolving FTE reporting requirements
-Upload to RMT the monthly Programme FTE forecast data (supplied from Project Accounting Tool) to ensure reflects latest agreed position including impact of Change Requests approved by Verde Funding Board
-Co-ordinate and agree with Central PMO and HR teams the actual FTE position to be reported for month end
-Reconcile payroll reports to SAP General Ledger postings
-Manage bonus accounting for c800+ permanent colleagues, including calculation and posting of current year cost accruals, completion of monthly bonus accrual reconciliation to SAP, and submission of monthly bonus cost return to Retail Division
-Reconcile SAP Finance system FTE numbers, including processing any required journal adjustments
-Use payroll cost reports and project allocation data to calculate and post transfer of permanent colleague payroll costs to individual projects (based on RMT data submission for Programme, and Ramp Up data for Corporate Core/IM/TSA)
-Calculate proposed FTE cost accruals by individual project at month end for all permanent and contractor resources (c700 FTE) using known actual costs charged to SAP. Liaise with FBPs to validate and post cost accruals to projects
-Produce Programme FTE Management Information pack
-Complete all FTE related Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations in accordance with Group Minimum Standards (GMS 2 and 5) for each month end. Complete Balance Sheet Account Certifications as Reconciler on Integrity on-line sign off system
-Prepare, agree with HR stakeholders and submit to Group HR the monthly actual Colleague Monthly Management Reporting (MMR) FTE reporting in accordance with set timetable
-Provide finalised actual FTE data to Executive Reporting team to support upload of actual FTE position into Project Accounting Tool

As such, the successful FTE & Cost Reporting Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Finance professional with a proven track record in large organisation
-High integrity (proven ability to deal with highly confidential personal pay data)
-Advanced Excel and good Access skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Able to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
-Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Flexible and able to deal effectively with ambiguity and uncertainty
-Strong team player
