My client is a global insurance Broker and Risk adviser based in London. I am looking for a Global Marketing Manager for a fixed 6 months contract.

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years marketing experience in the Energy, Marine or Insurance sector
- Experience working on large global projects
- Good Content management/design expertise

As a Global Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing marketing strategies in line with Energy and Marine business plans
- Working within the Energy and Marine business' leaders to design campaigns appropriate to meeting business objectives across all product lines
- Working with EMEA Corporate Communications, and other practice marketing leaders to leverage maximum impact and develop appropriate campaign synergies
- Managing all marketing campaigns at a strategic and tactical level across the full marketing mix as appropriate
- Planning and running small and large client conferences
- Drafting press releases and working with corporate PR team to manage media activities
- Management of client facing Energy and Marine websites - working with local webmasters to maintain and update
- Producing all internal communications for energy and marine practices
- Writing and/or editing and proofing all external and internal communications
- Management of brand at a business level, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines
- Ensuring all client facing materials meet the necessary compliance and legal guidelines
- Consolidation of marketing feedback data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and channels
- Design and production of marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite
- Fielding all web enquiries, ensuring that opportunities are passed to the most appropriate colleague
- Ensuring Energy and Marine practices contribute as appropriate to corporate publications
Knowledge/Content Management:
- Responding to requests for sales support materials from other and MMC Group companies for direct sales and RFP responses
- Researching client/prospect/competitor and market data, and the dissemination to Energy and Marine
- Developing and producing sales tools for Energy and Marine
- Writing, updating, editing, purging, and archiving content across Global Marine and Energy colleague/internal sites
- Coordination of Energy and Marine subscriptions
- Support colleagues, with emergency upload/edit issues
- Providing guidance and support to Content Managers in U.S. Mining and U.S. Power Practices in delivering content in line with U.S. EMP initiative

Management Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of a Marketing Assistant
Other responsibilities
- Covering Desk Top Publishing requirements for Energy and Marine

Reports to:
- Global Energy Business Development Leader
- Global Marine Chairman
- Matrix reports to Energy and Marine COO, Energy Hub leaders, Marine Region Leaders, and Director EMEA Communications & Marketing.

Skills required:
Marketing degree or post-graduate qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing
Experience of designing and implementing marketing plans
Conference planning and organising
Experience of tactical marketing across the marketing mix
Promotional, persuasion and influencing skills
Ability to communicate at all levels of business
Attention to detail
Good writing skills
Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Proficiency in all MS Office programmes
Knowledge of Website and Content Management systems

Skills Desirable:
Experience of utilising CRM software such as Salesforce.com
Knowledge of print management
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
