Description
A market leading utilities company based in Warwickshire require a Commercial Analyst to join their expanding team for 3 months initially. The client is looking for someone with an understanding of charging and billing systems, with the ability to understand current charging methodologies and transfer them into formula's.
Skills & requirements:
- Excellent at Excel m- this will be tested at a high level
- SAP experience in detail - ie not just extracting data
- Project management - understanding the budgets required for the budgets, costs and resource required
- Strong customer focus
General Experience:
- Experience in the electricity business would be an advantage
- Demonstrated capability in:
- Financial management understanding the interaction of commercial and financial drivers for the client
- Change Management and delivering change, including projects and improvements
- Commercial acumen
- MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Planning and co- ordination of activities across other departments
- Effective communication skills including the ability to make persuasive presentations to small and large internal and external audiences
- Negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Numerical analysis and being able to present clear messages to management and external audiences
- Analysing information from spreadsheets tailoring findings and analysis to the audience clearly
- Track record of developing working relationships quickly and effectively
- Previous experience of developing and working to defined processes, procedures and work instructions
- Driving continuous improvements and implementing best practice
- Responsibility for providing management information and KPI's
- Stakeholder manager
- Ability to handle complex issues
- Fully numerate
