DESCRIPTION:
The candidate would address diverse and complex scientific issues for biotherapeutic drug disposition and clearance. Deliverables span design and conduct of PK, biodistribution, mechanistic clearance, and platform development studies within the department (eg drug internalization kinetic assay) and partner lines.

REQUIREMENTS:
Involvement in the design of in vivo PK studies, prior experience conducting studies designed to understand PK/PD of proteins is highly desirable; Basic knowledge of statistics and experimental design; Basic knowledge of protein biochemistry, affinity measurements, characterization; Knowledge of ELISA, chromatography and protein purification; Establish and develop biochemical and cell based assays to assess protein interactions, drug internalization and kinetics; Conduct ex vivo experiments to understand drug characteristics, clearance mechanisms (FcRn protection, glycan receptors) and relevant ADME properties; Understand relevant scientific literature, contribute to leading in vitro and in vivo mechanistic studies; Independent data analyses, interpretation and summarization with presentation to various groups; Willingness to work with radioactive (125-iodine) samples; Attention to detail is critical and good fine motor skills.
