Description
A leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry has an urgent requirement for a Software Test Engineer within their Software Integration department. The Software Integration department specifies, executes and controls the testing and integration of the various software systems into a software release. As SW Test Engineer you will ensure a good, efficient testing and qualification of new software, either released as a new release version or in a service pack. The Software Test Engineer will be based in The Netherlands initially on a contract basis.The Role & Responsibilities:
* Work with architects and developers to determine the test impact and look at these deliverables from a customer point of view, testing from this system perspective.
* Define and execute software qualification tests
* Create system level tests to qualify the system and the software, testing the reliability of the system and its different modules.
* Provide clear reporting on issues found and ensure continuous improvement measures are put into place.
Education:
* Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Mechanics or Mathematics
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience in testing high-tech systems
* Experience deducting test plans from documents
* Unix or Python programming experience would an advantage
* Some experience and interest in automation is a plus
* Strong communication skills
* English and Dutch language skills
