Description
An experienced Communication expert is needed to join the PMO of a global Pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. Working alongside a Program Manager on a full time IT Infrastructure Project, you will be responsible for the operational communication to key stakeholders, relevant project staff and the internal / external communication of all program progress.Responsibilities:
* Support team members and the program as a whole by advising on communication aspects
* Be responsible for stakeholder management, public relations, operational communication and internal program communication
* Ensure maintenance and implementation of the Program Communication Plans
* Support Program Manager in all tasks related to program internal and external communication including presentations, emails, statements, program updates, interviews, press releases, personnel and other announcements
* Maintain communication templates and tools
* Ensure the continuity of terminology, look and feel and tone throughout the program by acting as a communication single point of contact
* Be responsible for the content of the program intranet site
* Engage with Global and Divisional IT team stakeholders when needed
Skills Required:
* Proven experience as a Communication Manager or Communication Specialist
* Experience of IT projects or programmes
* Experience of multi-location projects would be ideal
* Ability to provide internal and external communication updates
* Ability to support management with key project communication tasks including press release and stakeholder meetings
* PMO, PR or Marketing experience would be advantageous
* Any experience of a Pharmaceutical environment would be well recieved
* Excellent English communication skills are needed
* German or French skills may also be helpful due to the nature of the project work
This is an initial 9 month contract but it will likely see further program needs and contract extensions.
