Description
A global pharmaceutical organisation requires a Project Manager (ideally Arabic speaking) who has experience working in a Secondary pharmaceutical environment. The role of the Project Manager will be to manage, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of a �£5m expansion project in Saudi Arabia.Job Description:
*Project Management - To manage the specific project relating to the extension of the site, including the implementation of the project plan, construction, commissioning and handover to operations.
*Quality/Compliance - To ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations / national legal requirements, including completion of all GMP commitments to plan - specifically relating to the accuracy of project documentation.
*People Management - To operate in a matrix organisation, driving the local team and contract companies to ensure that the project is delivered.
*Continuous Improvement - To explore and identify new and improved processes targeted at improvement in quality and operational performance.
*To work in a safe manner with due regard for the health and safety of self, other work colleagues and the work environment. The Project Manager will also have an ongoing role in support of Safety, Health and Environmental considerations through the development and implementation phases of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
*Significant period of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical sector within an Secondary manufacturing environment, preferably gained in a variety of functions
*A proven track record in delivery of complex cross-functional projects
*Experienced practitioner of good project management practices
*Ideally speaks Arabic but not essential
*Able to forge good relationships with project members in a matrix organisation, where the project manager does not have line management responsibilities
