Currently my client, head-quartered in Hamburg Germany, is looking for an experienced WTG Installation&Commissioning Manager to support their operations in Hamburg.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Europes leading Renewable Energy Operators who have an extensive Project Portfolio, German language skills are required.

Job Title: WTG Installation & Commissioning Manager
Reports to:Logistics Package Manager

Job purpose:
The WTG Installation & Commissioning Manager is a fully responsible member of the logistics team, seeking to use its considerable technical and professional experience to deliver optimum solutions to ensure successful WTG installation and commissioning with regards to HSSE and Quality on time and within the budget.
Job scope:
- Development of WTG installation and commissioning concepts incl. time- and cost schedule
- Coordination of risk assessments, method statements, lift plans and all needed operating instructions
-Definition of necessary documentation for the certification and MWS process
- Evaluation of deck layouts, sea fastenings and guide line concepts
- Preparation of layouts of potential ports for storage and load out
- Developing and improving logistical concepts together with potential suppliers
- Leading the installation across to the execution phase
- Identification and coordination of internal and external interfaces
- Ensure that installation is conform to QA and HSSE procedures of the ECR group
- Working closely with construction manager and relevant package managers

Job requirements:
- Relevant experiences in WTG offshore installation and commissioning
- Great knowledge of special tools and lifting and transport devices
- Good knowledge of certification bodies and Marine Warranty Surveyors
- Excellent skills of written and spoken German and English language
- Very good communication skills
- Self starter, highly motivated
-At least three years experience in a senior project engineering or operations role in an Offshore Installation or heavy lifting contract or similar
- The ability to develop and put forward new and better ways of performing, including challenging established procedures and providing alternative solutions
- Experienced in (further) development of methods and procedures
- Understanding of the relevant regulations and approval processes
- Competent with standard software packages, email, Word, Excel, MS-Project and PowerPoint
- Valid offshore survival & medical certificate
