Global Head of Manufacturing Operations - Permanent - Switzerland

A major pharmaceutical organization has a fantastic opportunity for a Global Head of Manufacturing Operations to join the team based in Switzerland. The position involves directing manufacturing activities across all the manufacturing sites to execute the manufacturing strategy and product supply plans set by Product Group Directors and Supply Chain.

The Role:
*Oversees management and resolution of deviations and manufacturing issues spanning across multiple sites.
*Collaborates with Product Group Directors to make resource allocation and prioritization decisions (e.g. cross-product capacity conflicts).
*Plans, directs and coordinates manufacturing activities across sites by establishing strategic and operational policies and goals, assigning responsibilities and managing team resources.
*Develop and execute an integrated strategy for leveraging and optimizing manufacturing operations.
*Drive a manufacturing operation that ensures superior customer satisfaction by focusing on quality, delivery and cost.
*Drive operational excellence, combining both strategic and tactical change.
*Formulate and inplement a ``change management`` attitude.
*Assure more efficient, effective manufacturing operations while implementing best practices.
*Integrate and collaborate with Product Group Directors to execute against product strategy and supply plans.

*12+ years experience in a FDA regulated environment
*Strong Knowledge of business processes and the ability to work in teams and with other departments.
*Lead execution of the operational strategy to support divisional product strategies and maintain future business growth.
*Maintains the highest level of emphasis on integrity, compliance, and safety within manufacturing operations.
*Drives productivity improvements to improve product margins and cost competitiveness.
*Experience with successful interaction with internal and external customers, internal and external management, peers, New Business Development, National Accounts, Professional Services, Marketing Services, agent organizations, distributors and consumers to achieve departmental objectives and facilitate company wide strategic objectives.
