We are seeking experienced Stress Engineers for long term contracts in Europe. Our client is an international leader in engineering and a prime contractor for the aerospace industry with a focus on areas including Aerostructure and Systems Installation. As an experience Stress Engineer, you will have a career background within the aerospace sector and will bring your structural analysis expertise to a growing team of engineers.

Responsibilities will include:
* Conception and new design of light-weight structures and components for aerospace industry and participate in R&D
* Conceptualisation and investigation of design principles respecting production and cost requirements
* Pre-dimensioning and pre-design in accordance with stress and production departments
* Detailed design and data for manufacture respecting the rules of the OEM
* Validate and justify by stress calculations the different technical solutions
* Creation of relevant documentation

Your background will include:
* University educated with an Engineering degree
* Experience working as an Engineer in the aerospace sector, specifically with Airbus stress methods and within structural analysis
* Knowledge of analytical analysis methods and Airbus methods
* Significant knowledge about design methodology and light-weight design and metal and composite materials including fibre-reinforced
* Experience with Nastran, Patran, Hypermesh, Hyperworks, Abaqus
* ISSY, ISAMI, SAFE
* English language written and spoken (German or French would be a bonus)
* Have the creativity, flexibility, social competence and the ability to work under pressure
* Excellent team and coordination capability
