Currently our client in Norway is urgently looking for an experienced Deputy FSO Package Manager:Description:
- Assist the FSO package manager in the organization, management and control of FSO and mooring project activities
- Participate in the supervision, coordination, and control of all FSO and mooring project activities and to ensure that the project execution is conducted in accordance with Norwegian rules and regulations, project specifications, company HSE and QA/QC requirements and applicable general specifications.
- To assist in coordination and supervision of engineering performed during CCFT
- To assist in Interfaces management with others packages
- To participate to the preparation of the technical documents for FSO and mooring Call for tenders
- To participate to bid evaluations and technical clarification meetings
- To assist in contracts preparation
- To assist in supervision of FSO contractors for design, procurement, transport, installation and commissioning of FSO and mooring
- To ensure that FSO comply with Norwegian rules and regulations, projects specification, company HSE and QA/QC requirements and applicable general specifications.
- To anticipate problems and propose solutions or optimisations to the FSO manager.
- To participate in any technical or coordination meetings necessary to fulfil the job responsibility.
- To participate in HAZOP, HAZID and design reviews.
- To verify and comment on the engineering documents submitted by the contractor and ensure that they comply with all technical requirements.
- To coordinate corporate specialists for the resolution of technical queries/qualifications.
- To liaise with TOTAL specialists and inspection personnel on all quality control related matters.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years experience in projects with FSO/FPSO experience
- Ability to adapt and to represent the company in discussions/negotiations with contractors.
- Good English
- Graduation from NTNU marine technology or equivalent
- Good communication skills with contractor
