Description
I am looking for a German Speaking QA Support Engineer to work with European Renewable Energy organisation to support the electrical package in all quality management relevant questions (electrical offshore substation/inner park cable/export cable/grid connection. You will also be required to develop the package quality control plan including a risk analysis for production, transport, erection and commissioning and organize the QA during design, production, transport, erection and commissioning on site.Responsibilities
-Support HR and package manager in searching and selecting of QA inspectors
-Control and monitor the QA inspectors on site
-Coordinate the works with the inspectors of the certifying body
-Ensure that the work for electrical package is inspected and tested in accordance with approved inspection & test plans, specification, drawings and relevant rules/standards
-Highlight any HSSE issue, risk and delay to the package manager
-Support the project organization of the take-over of the entire wind farm to the O&M organization
-Organization / issuing of quality reports on a monthly or more frequently basis
-Transfer of technical / mechanical offshore expertise in the engineering level
Education
-Successfully completed a university degree in engineering plant operations, marine engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
-Experience in German project management offshore technology, the maritime environment, or equivalent knowledge
-Experience in engineering mechanical equipment, components and systems in the offshore marine area or required
-Experiences are very welcome in HVAC, fire fighting, corrosion protection, welding, secondary steel
-Confident in dealing with rules and standards such as IEC / DNV / GL / SOLAS etc.
-Fluent in German and English
-Technical leadership experience desirable
-Initiative - ability to make decisions - team spirit - communication skills - planning and organisational skills
