Our client is urgently in need of support of an experienced individual as per the below specification:

Key Activities:
-Adapt Clients Contract & Claim Management Standards, Tools and Procedures; define and apply processes and guidelines within the project/ foundation package accordingly

-Contribute to Commercial Contract Conditions for Supplier Contracts especially for Claim relevant issues e.g. Change Order as well as Deviation Procedures, definition of contractual consequences for contractually non-conform supplier performance (e.g. definition of Penalties, Payment Milestones)

-Review Request for Quotations and Offers and advise on Claim Risk and Opportunities
-Follow tender processes and work as link between the Foundation Team and Procurement
-Participate in tender clarification meetings and contract negotiations as required.
-Monitor supplies & services regarding Claim Risk and Opportunities, indicate claim consequences regarding quality, budget and schedule in due time
-Propose contract specific claim strategies
-Ensure proper claim documentation, draft correspondence in liaison with the foundation package manager
-Lead clarifications with suppliers regarding remuneration issues
-Contribute to the project`s risk management

Key Skill Requirements:
-Academic degree in a `economic or business` study
-Significant work experience in a field of commercial management
-Good understanding of technical interdependencies in engineering/design as well as structural steel fabrication
-Experience as Contract Manager in large scale new build projects
-Expertise and experience in Contract Law especially within International Contracts (e.g. FIDIC-based)
-Expert knowledge and work experience in ADR
-Proven ability in the interpretation of contract clauses
-Experience in developing and refining Contracts and Commercial Contract Conditions
-Well-developed communication skills and business fluent in English and German
-Experience in the (Offshore- ) Wind business is a benefit
-International business experience and intercultural skills is a benefit
-Able to work in project teams
