Description
Flawless coordinator required to join a global oil and gas company in Norway. The QA Flawless engineer will be required to coordinate the implementation of a Flawless program by Company and Contractors for one or more projects with significant subsea scope.They will be required to manage Company and Contractor focal points for Flawless focus areas and to ensure that deliverables in Company scope of work are developed and executed on time and to the required standard.
Principal accountabilities:
* Drive the overall Flawless program on the project and be responsible for the provision of presentation and training materials across the project with assistance from OR&A Norway team and central Operational Excellence team in Rijswijk.
* Act as Company representative and liaise with Contractor to ensure on time and effective roll out and execution of Flawless program including monitoring the roll out of Flawless to Sub-Contractors and selected Suppliers.
* Provide Flawless training, both internally and at Contractor premises to train Contractor Flawless Coordinator.
* Ensure Project Management and Delivery Leads are kept up to date with the implementation and execution of Flawless by reporting on a regular basis. Identify potential problems and recommend and implement corrective actions. Report any potential ``Show Stoppers`` to project management with mitigating proposals.
* Put in place an Assurance, Auditing System, e.g. Q rounds, to ensure all identified Flawless-related activities are being executed.
* Review the Lead Indicators and Final Flawless KPIs produced by Contractor and ensure theses are tracked and met. Provide comprehensive report at the end of the project on achievement of Final Flawless KPIs.
* Collect all project Lessons Learned from Company and Contractor Flawless focal points for further use in future projects.
* Cooperate closely with Quality Engineers, Operational Readiness Engineers and Discipline Engineers to achieve Flawless objectives
Experience, competencies and skills:
* Solid experience in oil&gas industry within project execution, including plant commissioning and start-up and or solid operational background.
* University degree or equivalent, or recognised professional technical qualification.
* Good general understanding of procedures and requirements with regard to fabrication, construction, testing, plant inspection, commissioning and start-up.
* Relevant experience in subsea, surf projects.
* Good general understanding of Lessons Learned processes.
* Strong co-ordination, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Perseverance to ensure that specifications and requirements are met.
* Fluent English is required and Norwegian language skills would be beneficial.
