Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Administrator to join a highly capable team, working with the latest virtualization, network and storage technologies in a quickly growing operational environment. The ideal candidate should be an experienced self-starter, interested in a wide range of infrastructure technologies.
The Role
- Conducting performance analysis, deployment, monitoring, capacity planning, security enforcement and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server related issues.
- Suggesting and implementing new processes, technologies and tools
Skills/Experience:
Essential Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Citrix XenApp Server (5.0-6.5)-setting up, publishing and troubleshooting applications for users.
- Strong Windows administration skills.
- Extensive experience of fibre channel storage networking.
- Excellent documentation and communications skills.
Advantageous Skills:
- Data centre operations experience.
- DB2, SharePoint, SQL Server.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of Cisco and F5 networking technologies.
