Information Security Engineer

Position Overview
Client Information Security Identity and Access Management is seeking an engineering contractor with proven experience in design and development using J2EE, Spring MVC, Web Services (WS), LDAP and RDBMS (DB2) for purposes of user provisioning, account provisioning and account claiming. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to perform self-directed work within a team environment.

Job Role:
The role includes design, development, integration, testing and implementation of developing Real Time interfaces from HR systems to the Identity management systems using webservices and Identity Management APIs. You will work with developers, QA teams, Operations and project managers. You will coordinate along timelines and lead efforts as necessary.

Design, develop, test Java based webservices to integrate Identity management systems with HR systems.

Essential Functions:
Robust knowledge of webservices/J2EE technologies and familiarity with identity management systems(Tivoli Identity Manager/Oracle Identity Manager) and how they integrate.
Perform detailed analysis of systems and develop recommendations for improvement
Manage release branches
Build and sanity test release binaries

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Solid experience designing developing custom Web applications using J2EE, webservices, Spring and Spring MVC, JSP, CSS, AJAX, JSON.
Understanding of RDBMS and LDAP technologies
History working with Eclipse/RAD, SVN/CVS and Apache Ant
Proven track record of stabilizing large, complex implementations and implementing engineering best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong ability to conceptualized and document complex systems for non-technical audiences
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Bachelor degree or higher with an emphasis in Computer Science or related discipline (or relevant work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:
Intimate knowledge of Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM), TIM API integration, custom adapter development (LDAP, DB2), TIM workflows, custom FESI/IBMJS development and Web services integration.
Experience working with IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator
Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Identity Analytics experience will be helpful as well.
Good understanding of information security fundamentals in the identity and access management space is preferred.
