DESCRIPTION:

• A Senior Test Engineer with a passion for automating all aspects of software testing.
• Comfortable bridging the gap between business QA and technical QA. This means writing test cases one day and automating them the next day.
• Contribute to development team responsible for the implementation web-based applications using the .NET Framework and SQL Server technologies (relational database and Business Intelligence).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology team members to define & analyze testing requirements for enhancements and new product development in a fast growing software-as-a-service business.
• Prepare test designs, code automated unit and regression tests, and perform debugging/troubleshooting.

• Responsible for the timely development and delivery of high-quality software in an Agile Scrum based environment while ensuring that the team adheres to architecture strategy, design patterns, and best practices.
• Work closely with fellow development and product management staff to document testing standards and procedures.

Experience and Our Environment:

• Senior Test Automation Engineer
• Experience working with Microsoft technologies as a developer, specifically with VB.NET and/or C# in web-based application environment (.NET 3.0+ framework) is a plus but is not required.
• Some experience with HTML and Javascript a plus.
• Expert hands-on experience with QTP.
• Familiarity with pattern-driven and Object Oriented software analysis, design, and implementation
• Develop SQL stored procedures, and objects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer-science (or related technical field).
• Microsoft certifications, particularly a MCTS Certification in a SQL Track an asset.
• QA Certification is an asset.
• Extremely strong collaboration and communication skills a must.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
• High level of flexibility and ability to persevere through periods of significant change and growth in the business environment.
