For one of our customers TFC - Talent Force Cooperation - is looking for a Unix Infrastructure Architect.

The Unix Infrastructure Architect has combined responsibilities. As architect, he/she designs high-availability solutions in presales phase and performs quality assurance in mapping the proposed solution against the technical delivery feasibility.

In addition, he/she acts as account SME for complex Unix (AIX/Solaris) environments. This role includes a wide-variety of activities, starting from initial setup and installation to Level 4 support.

Next to this, he/she acts as a focal architect towards the customer.

Requirements:

Technical skills
- AIX expert (AIX 5/6/7)
- Solaris expert (Solaris 9/10)
- Linux and HPUX basic skills
- Good knowledge of virtualisation techniques on AIX (Micropartitioning, LPAR, HMC, VIOS Management, LPM, NPIV, )
- Good knowledge of virtualisation techniques on Solaris (LDOM, container, )
- Advanced Power HA (HACMP) skills
- Advanced clustering services on SUN (Veritas and SUN cluster mgmt)
- Hardware knowledge of Power and SUN infrastructure
- Experience in Tivoli Storage Manager Client and Tivoli Data Protection Client
- Experience in program languages: Perl, Bash, Kornshell,
- Knowledge of storage infrastructure (SAN, SVC, DS, ) and network infrastructure

Participation in oncall is required (+/- 1 week per quarter)

- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- Resistance to operational pressure
- Ability to respect procedures, to review and propose improvements
- Flexible and willing to perform planned interventions outside the official working hours

Hours a week: 40 hours.
