Product Senior System Engineer/Architect - DFx, Terminal OS
Darwin Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced architect or a senior system engineer to join an R & D Project.
You will work in an innovative team which covers a wide area and some specific design tasks:
Lead the architecture and system design team, guide the system designer and DFx engineer to implement the architecture design solution, feasibility analysis, architecture evaluation and optimization. To be responsible for the competitiveness and performance of the architecture solution. Provide design guidelines, proposals and concrete countermeasures on how to deal with non-functional design/DFx issues which shall or should be met during product development, delivery, operation and maintenance.
Including but not limited to:
Reliability/Dependability/Availability, Fault management/recovery/injection test, Serviceability/Maintainability, Energy efficiency/Energy management, Globalization &localization, etc.
Summarize the design experience, design guideline and rules, architecture methodology, present and share with the relevant team, in order to improve the competence of whole system design team.
To be involved in building medium and long term architecture and DFx technologies planning.
Qualifications and experience
Above 8 years' successful system design or architecture design and assessment experiences in ICT industry (ie, Radio Access Network, IP network, Cloud platform, Smart phone, Operation and Management ), be familiar with industry standards and practices; for example, serviceability or supportability and maintainability, reliability/dependability, energy efficiency etc (be very good at one area at least);
Highly skilled and trained in the practice of software architecture design (eg smart phone software).
You can evaluate alternative architectures, are sensitive at advanced industry technologies and can introduce the necessary key technologies, lead R&D team to produce architectures with good quality attributes;
End to End view or life cycle view;
Good team work and good motivation during work; you are expected to have the ambition to realize the implementation of your product design/vision; to expand, distribute your competence and forge an industry leading team;
Excel in both written and verbal English Communication;
Bachelor or Master degree or above.
