Description
SharePoint Architecture
The resource should have an overview of the overall architecture of SharePoint 2010, Services Model and General Configuration. Must be able to map the business requirements with the technology and can propose best solutions for the technical and non-technical users.
Development Skills
The basic .NET development skills and web development skills are required as a must. Must hold a past experience of developing multitier database driven applications. The preferred candidate would be of C#.
SharePoint Skills
The competences for SharePoint are as under:
* Branding
* The resource should be aware of branding methodologies and best practices[Microsoft recommended approaches] .
* Awareness of SharePoint capabilities and out of the box functionalities.
* Must understand the localization in SharePoint 2010 and best practices [Microsoft recommended approaches].
* In depth knowledge of features, farm solutions and Sandbox solutions
* Authentication Providers in SharePoint 2010 with knowledge of exposing SharePoint sites on Internet and Intranet
* Document Management Features out of the box and customization
* Sound development knowledge of Visual/Non-Visual web parts, Workflows using Windows Workflow Foundation, Event Listeners.
* Sound knowledge of XSLT is required. Should be able to customize/modify XSL.
* Sound Knowledge of Reporting Services and Business Connectivity Services.
* Sound knowledge of Internet & Intranet Sites.
* Knowledge of Nintex Workflows will be an advantage.
