Bid Proposal Coordinator
6 month initial contract role
This position is accountable for providing quotes to customers by utilizing advanced sales and technical expertise to prepare quotation packages for the Company's largest and most complex industrial information system and automation projects. Capable of producing fully compliant proposals in response to formal Request for Proposal packages as well as producing professional unsolicited proposals with the assistance of technical and commercial proposal team members. Assigns tasks to the quotation support technical, commercial, and contracts team members to meet proposal requirements and deadlines.
1. Interest and capable of building knowledge of automation products and industrial control applications. The ideal candidates would possess a Technical degree from an accredited University and attained professional proposal management credentials or possess equivalent bid and proposal experience.
2. Reviews customer specifications/drawings to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive.
3. Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard.
4. Serves as peer expert for proposal questions including complex technical issues and bid strategies.
5. Knowledge of document publication tools and graphics technology.
6. Responsible for the bidding process regarding large, complex proposals, process design consulting or manufacturing services.
