Our client is a market leader in the Telecommunications industry and they have an opportunity for a Senior Network Consultant/Architect to join their team on a long term assignment
The role will see you accountable for the following:
- Drive development of ICT strategy and development of ICT strategic roadmaps for customers
- Ability to understand in business terms, various ICT product technologies (particularly Infrastructure architecture, Microsoft Infrastructure and Products, Cloud, Security, Unified communications, Network computing, IP Networks and mobility) which can be applied in dynamic business environments to achieve tangible business results
- Act as a leading subject matter expert in the architecture of a complex customer/customers infrastructure & communications network/s
- Provide in-depth technical advice and service to clients and/or internal stakeholders to ensure development of efficient systems, utilising established architecture standards, processes, methodologies and tools
- Define the overall architectural and technical solution to meet defined business outcomes and requirements
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Excellent planning and design skills.
- Thorough understanding of various generations of architectures (technical, operational and application)
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computing or Applied Sciences or other qualifications/industry experience as deemed suitable.
- Relevant industry/technology current certification is highly desirable, such as CCNP, CCDP, CCIP, CCVP, CCIE, MCSE and others
- 5 + years working as a Consultant
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Networks and Infrastructure
- Role requires an expert knowledge in Data/Voice/IPTel/Microsoft technologies
- Pre Sales Experience
- Previous track record delivering in a large scale environment
- Excellent communication and stakehlder management ability
