IT Facilities Officer/Technical Document Writer

A large Australian Organisation is looking to bring on a Senior IT facilities Officer.
The ideal person will also have experience writing and reviewing technical briefs (or scope of works) for complex cabling system installations
Essential experience:
- Experience writing and reviewing technical briefs for complex cabling system installations.
- Experience writing scope of work documents for fibre optic cable for Ethernet/IP solutions
- Extensive experience with and detailed technical knowledge of modern communications cabling system - in particular, structured UTP building cabling systems, and fibre optic cabling.
- Experience in understanding ICT business requirements and translating these into a detailed technical scope of works.
Desirable:
- Has past experience working as part of medium to large scale projects involving the installation and commissioning of building cabling systems in a project management or senior technical role.
- Knowledge of project management mythologies such as Prince2, or PMBOK
Possible Certifications:
- CPR
- CAT 5
- ITIL
