Our client, an Oil & Gas giant, is currently looking to recruit a Recruitment Change Manager. The candidate will join a team in Sunbury, UK, on a 9 month contract; however the majority of time will be spent onsite at the clients' Brazilian Business.

Job Description:

Out client has recently strengthened its global resourcing leadership team and this group has now embarked on a programme of change to improve how it recruits around the world. Key areas of activity include investments in the employer brand, the expansion of professional recruitment and sourcing teams, establishing more consistent assessment capability, improving supplier performance management and the development of processes and technology to improve the candidate experience.

This opportunity is to support our Alternative Energy Biofuels business in Brazil. The business is embarking on an exciting period of growth and the resourcing capability of the business needs to be increased in order to support that growth.

Your role will be to partner with the local business to understand their recruitment challenges and context, architecting and implementing the right solution using group resources and capabilities where appropriate. You will be the glue between the need to develop recruitment capability locally and globally, the expertise that exists across the group and the influencing of budget and resource holders to make the necessary investments.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understand and document the challenges being faced.
  • Liaising with subject matter experts in our global resourcing teams to get their input re technology, assessment, candidate attraction, candidate experience and graduate recruitment
  • Documenting recruitment solutions including business cases and supporting the local team in getting buy-in from all relevant stakeholders
  • Leading the implementation of the solution including project management, hands on implementation and reporting into the group-wide change programme

Essential criteria & qualifications

  • Track record of shaping and implementing world class resourcing solutions for a diverse range of businesses and geographies
  • International resourcing experience and mindset
  • Deep recruitment best practices knowledge across a wide variety of recruiting models for experienced hires
  • Experience of leading and implementing material changes in the recruitment space
  • Demonstrated experience of managing and influencing a broad range of stakeholders in a very complex Matrix environment
  • Experience of working in developing markets
  • Experience of working in the agricultural sector in South America

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of both graduate and experienced hiring
  • Experience of operating at group and local levels
  • Brazilian Portuguese speaker

While the location is at Sunbury in the UK, the project will require that the majority of time is spent onsite in our Brazilian business. We are open to candidates already based in the region or to candidates who would relocate/travel extensively for the duration of this project.
