Video Encoding Assistant - West London
Our Broadcasting client is currently an Encoding Assistant to support an encoding team to prepare video files for an online retail movies and television database. This is an initial contract three month rolling contract based in West London.
As an Encoding Assistant, the successful candidate will provide encoding and administrative to our client's online movie/television database which provides customers with a range of the latest online movies and television programmes to watch on demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide encoding support.
- Prepare video files for the online database using a bespoke online tool.
Desired Candidate Requirements:
- Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline such as Audio Visual Media
- Video encoding experience (paid or unpaid or as part of a University placement).
- Excellent general computer skills
- High level of technology understanding.
- Knowledge of and experience with encoding software such as Rhozet (Beneficial)
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills as well as a focused and pro active attitude.
