Description
8+ month contract position for a C/C++ or Java Developer.
Individual will design, develop and test new applications and perform life cycle report for existing applications. If needed, individual will also lead the development effort for subsystems of a large scale project.
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in all phases of application development
- Strong Unix experience including Unix Shell Scripting (korn, Bourne, bash, etc.)
- Strong telecommunications and wireless industry knowledge
- Expert in C/C++ or Java
- Strong Oracle or Informix development expertise and design techniques
- Object Oriented development methodologies and design patterns
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Integrated Development Environments (JBuilder, Forte, Visual Studio)
- Strong knowledge of 3rd party vendor tools for monitoring, scalability and performance tuning
