Description
As a niche financial services consultancy we are seeking a consultant with strong Operational Risk expertise to work full time on client site, a leading bank in Central London. Solid experience within banking, knowledge of cash, commercial cards and/or trade finance, banking product knowledge, experience of process mapping, process redesign using lean principles, and demonstrable operational risk expertise all are requirements for this role. We are seeking someone with strong analytical and problem solving skills and excellent communication skills and who can take a lead on decisions.
The role will involve:
- Finalising the operational risk approach
- Design and manage and process gap analysis for the process mapping work-streams
- Supporting the initial gap analysis work done by a team of BAs
- Setting up, manage and lead workshops for process gap analysis
- Use the workshops to identify gaps
- Identify KRIs in the mapped processes
- Write up relevant reports from the workshops
- Work closely with the in house business op risk specialists to gain additional incite and information
The project purpose is to investigate and document existing business processes and develop to-be processes within a newly restructured business unit, and this role will act as part of the operational risk expertise.
