Hi there! We’re currently seeking a talented programmer to join our small team based in DUMBO, Brooklyn. This would be a contract for around six months with an opportunity to stay on board and work on other projects if all goes well.
We’re currently two founders working out of a small office. Our main projects include a business productivity iOS application (our product) as well as several medical related projects. This position would focus primarily on a contract we are working on which is a web and mobile application written in Sencha Ext JS and Sencha Touch, so familiarity with these frameworks is a huge plus, but similar framework experience will work as well. We’re open to some architectural changes if you have a wealth of experience with different platforms or frameworks.
Compensation is commensurate with experience. We will pay you well if you kick ass.
Expertunderstanding of the following:
HTML5 and CSS3 as well as HTML4 and CSS2
Javascript and knowledge of at least one common JS framework, such as Sencha or jquery
Photoshop literate and able to turn PSD comps into cross browser web sites
Excellent understanding of web application architecture, including service driven / AJAX web applications. Ability to use and debug REST services and manage data within the web application.
Some mobile development experience, whether HTML5 or native based
SQL
Some web programming language – ASP.NET is what we primarily work in, but we’re open to people with heavy Ruby, PHP, or other skills
Responsive design implementation
Really nice-to-have skills:
Objective C
ASP.NET / C#
