UNIX Integration Analyst - Our client, a leading financial services company is looking for a French speaking UNIX Integration Analyst to join their Production Integration team - this team is responsible for deploying new and changed applications from development into permanent test environments and production environment. As UNIX Integration Analyst you will be responsible for the deployment of multi-tier UNIX applications. Please do not apply for this role unless you speak fluent French.
Tasks include specification, development and testing of operational scripts and validation of the launch scenarios for the pre-production and production environments. UNIX Integration Analyst will also work on deployment and configuration of the applications into permanent test, pre-production and production environments. You will also participate in application design phase of forthcoming changes, identifying production environment impacts of new and changed applications and will validate application architecture, define non-functional requirements to facilitate integration of the changes into production and assess the operational readiness of the change. Aspects to consider include scheduling, local and regional disaster recovery, security, scalability, configuration, deployment, operational procedures in place. You will work frequently with the development, testing and system engineering teams.
UNIX Integration Analyst skills required:
- Experience in operating system management (AIX and Linux) and application integration
- Experience in ONE or MORE of the following:
- Korn Shell
- WebSphere MQ
- IBM Information Server DataStage
- Experience working in a high availability environment, conscious and focused on the controls required to assure the required service levels
- Able to communicate in English and French (MANDATORY)
- Strong negotiation skills to manage relations with stakeholders
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Any of the following will be advantageous: ITIL Principles, Cognos Business Intelligence, Oracle PL/SQL, HACMP, Perl, UniPaaS (Magic Software))
