Description
Maintains Servers, creates monitoring reports and logs, and ensures functionality of links. Monitors web site for acceptable performance and user accessibility. Establishes back-ups and monitors site security. Consults with and advises network users. Support 19 MDG/SGSI. Responsible for functional Windows 2008 Servers, NetApp SAN Solution FAS2420 filers and 350+ end users.
Demonstrated ability to manage systems security, and direct and implement the necessary controls and procedures to cost-effectively protect information and system assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
Provides guidance and direction to other functional units for the physical protection of information system assets. Provides reports to superiors regarding effectiveness of data security and makes recommendations for the adoption of new procedures.
Demonstrated ability to manage network security, and direct and implement the necessary controls and procedures to cost-effectively protect information and network assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction.
Coordinates network administration and performance requirements with others in the information systems function. Identifies, analyzes and documents long-range requirements and schedules resources related to the enterprise network.
Responsible for configuration management and documentation of network and system topologies and/or web site. Prepares technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions.
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
Performs system backup and recovery, maintaining data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
