Description
Senior Essbase Developer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with on-shore team to implement BI solutions using Essbase, Financial Reports, and other EPM applications.
- Ensure production platform stability by working closely with Operations team to resolve issues and proactively suggest ways to improve.
- Complete maintenance requests on existing BI applications and solutions.
- Participate in platform patches, upgrades, and new functionality rollouts to an approx. user base of 1,000.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in a technology related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Essbase development (including BSO/ASO, calculation scripts, performance tuning) required. Some experience installing and developing on EPM version 11.X desired.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux OS required.
- Experience with the following an advantage:
- EPM Shared Services
- Hyperion Financial Reports
- SmartView/Excel Add-In
- Planning
- Interactive Reporting (BRIO)
- Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI)
- Unix Shell Scripting
- PERL
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be a team player.
- Flexibility to travel to Boston, US as required.
