Finance Manager
Position Overview:
Based in London, our client is looking for a smart, motivated, versatile individual who wants to help the business team make better decisions by providing robust financial, commercial and analytical support to the business.
General Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analysis
* Support the commercial finance director to establish reporting on new business performance to enable monthly tracking by sales leadership
* Support the commercial finance director to define and establish an operational reporting suite to support the regional quarterly business reviews
Other
* Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by the Commercial Finance Director
Role and Specification.
Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA preferred). Bachelors degree, 2:1 or above (or equivalent) and strong academic background. Proven ability to analyze data to solve business problems and provide strong business insight. Proven ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non finance audiences. Proven experience of creating useful reporting. Proven ability to operate autonomously. Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced spreadsheet, database and presentation skills - capable of building an Excel model which will enable reasonable automation of new business reporting. Quick learner. Must have experience of using/working with salesforce.com. Experience Business Objects is advantageous but some form of Datawarehouse interaction experience is necessary
