EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: This is a n excellent opportunity for an experienced OBIEE/Informatica Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Following functional specification documents to model data through from the Physical layer in the Oracle BI Analytics Datawarehouse to the Presentation Layer.
• This will include the creation and modification of Physical and Logical Tables, physical and logical star schemas, presentation subject areas and logical dimension hierarchies.
• The creation of calculated fields and metrics within the Business Model layer using functions such as FILTER, COUNT and TODATE.
• The following of best practice modelling guidelines to ensure consistency throughout the warehouse design.
• Liaise with functional experts where clarity is required with regard to understanding business requirements or functional specification documents.
• Provide expert advice on modelling practice and make recommendations to improve designs provided within functional specifications.
• Creation and modification of Informatica mappings, sessions & workflows
• Provide regular feedback on progress.
• Clearly document all work completed and in particular any changes made from specification documents.
• Undertake knowledge transfer to other members of the BI implementation team.

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience of using Oracle BI Administration tool to model data from Physical layer through to Presentation Layer.
• Practical experience of Informatica/DAC.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver accurate work.
• Ability to understand detailed functional requirements and model them into Star Schema format.
• Ability to communicate clearly with other members of the BI implementation team to impart technical information.
