IT Support Analyst - Hedge Fund
Montash have been engaged by a Global Hedge Fund to source an IT Support Analyst to join a Global Hedge Fund based in Greenwich, CT. The Support Analyst will be supporting all aspects of technology relating to US trading and supporting the traders and staff to ensure the performance of the system. The Support Analyst needs a strong background in finance and have exposure to large risk management systems; Front Arena, Excel or Bloomberg. The Support Analyst will need an interest in Finance and an excellent technical understanding of programming, databases and development of IT infrastructures.
The Support Analyst will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. The incumbent will act as the point of contact for the Technology team in the US and have strong relationships in place with the UK and Hong Kong based teams.
Skills:
- Experience of working/supporting a trading desk
- A strong understanding of programming languages: Python, C#, VBA are preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management, both onshore and offshore engagements (teams based in UK, Hong Kong and Tokyo)
- Exposure to Risk Management Systems: Front Arena or similar
