Description
A respected Federal Government department is currently looking for an experienced System Administration and Configuration Specialist.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain Northrop Grumman HCS/ICS (GCCS) Software and runtime environment.
- Support data interfaces that use interchange formats such as AIS and OTH-GOLD.
- Develop and maintain components to support high volume interfaces.
- Provide support for Data correlation and fusion components
- Provide input into capacity planning regarding HCS/ICS (GCCS) resource utilisation.
- Design, implement and monitor HCS/ICS (GCCS) maintenance schedules.
- Provide problem investigation support and rectification.
- Plan and implement product upgrades as required.
- Prepare and maintain relevant documentation.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in supporting mission critical 24x7 systems
- Knowledge and understanding of security issues and processes around ICT systems in classified environments.
- Experience supporting and maintaining applications in a VM Ware Virtualised environment.
- Experience in applications development languages such as C, C#, VB.NET, Perl
- Relational database experience in SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
- ITIL knowledge.
- Project management knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM)
Mandatory Requirement:
- Applicants need to be Australian citizens
- Applicants need to hold a security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) with the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 clearance.
