Description
Aerotek's client are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and be responsible for full product life cycle of two new products. 60% of this role will be design work using Pro Engineer (experience with this or SolidWorks are of interest). These design will include new product design and modifying existing designs. The successful candidate will come from a light industrial or automotive background and have experience designing for harsh environments, moving parts or industrial machinery. 40% of this role will be liaising with internal and external teams and customers for analysis and manufacture. The successful candidate must have full product life cycle experience and have experience interfacing with customers and sub contractors.
This is a great opportunity to design from concept and lead the project to manufacture and installation. This contract is highly likely to extend throughout 2013.
