JAVA - JEE - Web Service -REST - Brussels
My client based in Brussels is seeking for an experienced Java Web Service developer to extend a small team that is working on a high-availability web service.
At present they are looking to hire a senior web service development expert, who will extend an existing web service with a RESTful API.
Profile
The candidate must have skills and experience in the following areas :
- Server development skills
- Java EE
- Spring 3
- Struts 2
- Technologies: REST, JSON, XML, Maven
- Excellent unit and system testing skills
- Experience with version control systems (git, github)
- Knowledge of/experience with information security is advantageous
Apart from these pure technical skills, the candidate should possess:
- The ability to work independently and pro-actively.
- Experience working in an agile environment, acquainted with the SCRUM project life cycle
- A strong quality orientation, combined with a pragmatic attitude
- Strong command of English
- Good communication and writing skills
