OutSource UK is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design engineer for an initial 6 month contract based in Rochester.
Working with one of our leading defence clients you will be providing technical solutions to a number of aircraft projects including displays, helmets, flight control and safety systems. This is a very exciting opportunity to work with like minded engineers in the design of critical products for the worlds most advanced aircraft.
You will be carrying out the conceptual design, of products/systems, detailed designs and investigations, tolerance assessments, calculations and also look into the production and purchasing costs of these projects.
A wide background in mechanical engineering is needed and experience of working with ProENGINEER WF5.0 for 3d Design would be preferred.
You should be a strong team player, energetic and have excellent communication skills.
Candidates will need to hold or be able to apply for Security Clearance.
This role is commutable from Rochester, Kent, Chatham, Gillingham.
