Internal Communications Business Partner required for a leading defence & security company based in Farnborough to advise, plan and execute communication strategy and implementation for Managed Services (MS), supporting Group internal communications strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage relations with Managed Services Leadership team to develop communications strategy and individual divisions to support the business in delivering Vision 2015
  • Work with Head of Internal Communications and the Director of Involvement in developing and implementing the overall internal communication and engagement strategies
  • Advise Managed Services executive team on communications to ensure that messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with the Group strategy and consistent with overall corporate messaging
  • Deliver the MS communications plan with support of Channel Manager and IC executives
  • Provide content/news coverage to raise the profile of MS to the Internal Communications Channel Manager, for broadcast to wider UK employee audiences
  • Work with local Employee Engagement Group representatives to promote their role to MS constituencies
  • Input on design and development of range of measures including employee engagement survey, from MS perspective. Responsible for communicating engagement surveys across MS; working closely with the HR Director and HRBPs to analyse and action results

Essential Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Educated to graduate level
  • Ability to write and disseminate messages into written materials
  • 5 - 10 years experience of internal and change communications
  • Basic understanding of business management
  • Data and computer literacy
  • PR awareness and appreciation
  • Production Management
