SAP Technical Lead should have a strong background and understanding of SAP Infrastructure and delivery management of SAP Services within an ITIL environment. Candidate should possess project management skills and preferably be qualified to Prince 2 as well as ITIL Process Management to foundation level or better.. SAP experience will include Technical Design awareness and implementation. The candidate will have a good understanding and experience of SAP NetWeaver technology and its application to business solutions. Should have team leader experience and ability to manage both onshore and offshore staff. The ability and willingness to interface with key supplier is essential.

Essential skills

  • Team Leader Experience and ability to manage both onshore and offshore staff
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver platforms, architecture and integration of SAP with non-SAP products.
  • Experience in working in a complex SAP system landscape and Familiar with ECC 6.0, CRM, SRM, Enterprise Portal, PI, Business Intelligence, Solution Manager
  • Lead on specific SAP technical projects and periodic tasks such as support packs, upgrades and new implementations.
  • Solution Manager Root cause analysis
  • SAP capacity and availability management.
  • Assess and implement changes in SAP environment according to the change management process and policies.
  • Knowledge of IT security, Firewalls, Networking and communications eg WAN/LAN/Routers/failover technology.
  • Experience of working as part of a large team disbursed in different physical locations.
  • Understanding of system landscape, platform and technology strategies
  • Have designed and architected complex SAP Technical solutions;
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting, including providing support to functional teams across multiple SAP modules
  • Resolves incidents, investigate problems, and performs root cause analysis of technical issues.
  • Good communication/client facing skills, with an ability to present a compelling technical vision to a non-technical audience
