Come and join a large reputable global IT Outsourcer that has over 3000 staff throughout Australia and New Zealand. They are known as the supplier of choice for leading corporate and government organisations based in this region and offer lots of career opportunities to their staff!

This expanding international organisation is currently seeking a System Engineer due to growth to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis (with potential to extend further) and will be based in their Perth office.

The ideal candidate will be working as part of a team of engineers that provides Incident and Change Management support as well as identifying the root cause and resolution of all priority incidents for their client base!

To be considered for this position, you will require the following background and experience:

  • Previous experience working within a server administration role, (preferably with IT outsourcing experience).
  • Microsoft Technologies, primarily Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of AD, WINS, DHCP, DNS
  • Good working knowledge of Windows clustering and load balancing (WLBS)
  • Good working knowledge of basic networking and TCP/IP
  • Some knowledge of Enterprise applications including IIS, Web filters, ISA, Mail filters, Proxy Servers
  • Management & Monitoring tools eg CA TNG
  • Citrix administration an advantage
  • A solid understanding and adherence to the ITIL framework
  • Microsoft certification
