Description
Senior Instrument Engineer sought for a 12 month contract assignment based in Stavanger within the Energy sector.
In the role of Senior Instrument Engineer you will be involved in the following:
- Ensuring the systems are updated in accordance to applicable standards, regulations & governing documentation
- Possibly being the weight responsible, including updating the MTO's and/or instrument index/registers
- Instrument field design/engineering (equipment, JB's, tubing & fittings, cables & trays and routing etc.) including making and updating drawings.
- Design responsible on Instrument and specialist in 2D-CAD/Microstation drafting & 3D-PDMS modelling.
- Input into the installation (onshore & offshore) job packages & job cards for the instrument construction activities.
The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Instrument Engineer should have the following:
- Degree or diploma in Instrument design/engineering or equal
- Senior level experience as an Instrument Engineer working on similar tasks
- At least 5 year experience working in Norway on similar projects
- Excellent communication skills with fluent business level English
- Eligibility to work in Norway (EU Passport/Work Permit Holder)
