Montreal Associates are seeking a Storage System Administrator EMC, SAN, NAS experience for our customer in Helsinki, Finland for a 3 months duration contract. Would this role interest you and will you be available, however if not who else could you recommend?

Object of contract
The Consultant(s) will perform the following tasks:
- Plan and implement EMC Networker backup system upgrade.
- Provide expertise on operational strategies for data backup and restore technologies in the following areas, but not necessarily limited to:
- EMC NetWorker 7.6 and later
- NDMP backups
- LTO 3/4/5 tape drives
- Oracle SL500 tape libraries
- EMC NetWorker modules
- Monitoring of the backup system
- Perform Backups and Restores
3. Context and background for the assignment
Data backup services are a critical component of the companies infrastructure. The Consultant(s) will plan and implement an EMC Networker backup system upgrade. Daily work will be organised together with internal resources.
4. Description of required resources and requisites
- Consultant(s) to perform data backup systems related system upgrade, support and administration activities as described in this technical annex.
- The Consultant(s) shall have the following skills:
Requisites:
- Provide expertise on operational strategies for backup and restore technologies:
- NetWorker 7.6 or later on Windows platform
- NDMP on NetApp MetroCluster
- LTO3, 4 and 5 tape backups
- Oracle SL500 tape libraries
- NetWorker specific modules (eg Exchange, MS SQL, MS Applications, VMware, storage nodes). - It will be advantageous for the Consultant(s) to have the following skills:
Assets:
- Sound understanding of SAN network fabrics and zoning principals;4 (5)
- Professional experience with:
- NAS Network Protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI);
- NDMP protocol (Networker, LTO3/4/5, NetApp);
- Brocade SAN Switches and SAN boot configurations;
- Cisco Nexus and UCS series FCoE;
- NetApp V-series metrocluster storage system administration;
- NetApp OnCommand System Manager and CLI command line interface;
- EMC Clariion CX4-960 storage system administration;
- EMC Unisphere administrator tool and CLI command line interface;
- EMC NetWorker backup software (v7.5 or later); - EMC Networker client backup modules for Microsoft Applications.
- Professional experience with Cisco UCS Servers.
- Professional experience with Cisco UCS and SAN connectivity.
- Professional experience with VMware and NetApp connectivity.
- Professional experience with NetApp virus scanner technologies.
- The working language of the project will be English;
6. Deliverables
- Provide expertise and hands-on support in upgrading EMC Networker system according to the upgrade plan;
- Provide expertise and hands-on support in integrating NetApp NAS technology with current backup systems:
- Assistance in Backup system (EMC Networker, Oracle SL500) migration to NetApp platform (NDMP);
- Assistance in integration with vSphere 5 Enterprise Plus backups;
- Upgrade from LTO3 and LTO4 to LTO5 drives. - Create system documentation of the data backup systems;
- Create user manuals for operation of the upgraded data backup systems.
