This role is the perfect step-up role if you are a talented infrastructure focused Technical Lead or the perfect role to keep progressing from if you are already an established Infrastructure Solution Architect as the role has a heavy design focus.
  
You will be in the End-User Technology area for IT Infrastructure looking after branch infrastructure and corporate infrastructure. Your role will see you deliver architecture, strategy and be responsible for project delivery. This isn't a pure Architect/Tech Lead role, it is more multi-faceted than this! 
  
To be considered for the role you will require: 

• 3 to 5 years plus proven success in an Infrastructure Technical Lead. Infrastructure Architect, Infrastructure Design or
• Robust infrastructure design skills
• Proven ability to deliver projects.
• You will be dealing heavily with vendors so experience of the outsourced/vendor environment would be essential.
• Ideally come relatively recently from a hands-on engineering, technical environment in IT infrastructure.

Technical skills required: 
  
Essential:

• Virtualisation Technologies (VMware)
• Unified Comms/Video Conferencing - Microsoft Lync/Cisco
• Telepresence/TANDBERG
• IP Telephony - Cisco
• Microsoft SCCM
• Microsoft Active DirectoryDesktop Deployment/SOE

Highly Desirable:

• Virtual Desktop Computing - Citrix XenDesktop
• Server Based Computing - Citrix XenApp
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
